François Dumeaux - également connu sous le nom de druc drac - (ex familha Artús, ex Shapeless, ex [alveol], ex La Theory du Reptil...) & Nicolas Godin - également connu sous le nom de Shape2 - (membre de familha Artús, et ex Shapeless, ex Peggy Lux, ex Overflow.inc... cofondateur de Stomoxine avec eOLe) ont commencé à jouer ensemble au sein du groupe noise psychédélique Shapeless à Agen à la fin des années 90. Accompagnés par Fran "Love" Cunistar (aussi membre de Phoneyusa sur Stomoxine et ancien Peggy Lux) à la guitare, ils pratiquent l'improvisation aussi bien en studio que sur scène.

Une dizaine d'année plus tard, François Dumeaux & Nicolas Godin se retrouvent à la campagne avec des guitares, un piano, une cithare, des percussions, des synthés, des ordinateurs, un poste radio et des microphones. Du 20 au 25 juin 2011, tout est enregistré et mixé dans la foulée. Le résultat: un tryptique d'albums intitulé Piriforme, mêlant krautrock, electronica, post-rock, noise, ambient... Chacun des trois albums sortira simultanément sur Pagans, Stomoxine records et Tyto Alba.
